Ivory Model of Taj Mahal

This ivory model of Taj Mahal was given to FITZWILLIAM MUSEUM CAMBRIDGE in 1842. This was exhibited in the FITZWILLIAM MUSEUM upto 1924. Then lent to the Victoria and Albert Museum where it was displayed in Indian section. In 1950, it was offered to Pakistan as a gift.

The size of this model is 10ft by 6-in square at the base 9-ft in height.
