Sher Singh s/o Maharaja Ranjit Singh -Sikh Ruler of Punjab

Sher Singh was one of the Maharajas of the Sikh Empire that withstood in Punjab. He was the fourth Maharaja and was born on 4 December 1807. He died on 15 September 1843. As a consequence of the attack he conducted with an army of 1000 soldiers on Lahore, Sher Singh was able to make himself the emperor of Lahore. After winning the fight, his reign started on 18 January 1840. He also served as a Governor of Kashmir for 3 years from 1831 to 1834.

Sher Singh was the son of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and Maharani Mehtab Kaur, he had a younger twin brother Tara Singh. Tara Singh was born in 1807 and died in 1859. Sher Singh was killed as he reached for a new shotgun held by Ajit Singh Sandhawalia, who pulled the trigger.
