Sikh soldiers armour and swords

This image shows armours and swords used by Sikh Emperors and soldiers. The Sikhs used swords which were straight and this property of Sikh swords distinguishes them from armours used by other soldiers including British and Mughal soldiers.

The Sikh Domain was a state beginning within the Indian subcontinent, shaped beneath the authority of Ranjit Singh, who established an domain based within the Punjab.[8] The realm existed from 1799, when Ranjit Singh captured Lahore, to 1849, when it was vanquished and prevailed within the Moment Anglo-Sikh War. It was produced on the establishments of the Khalsa from a collection of independent Sikh misls. These swords and armours were utilized by sikh soldiers during battles. The Sikhs also used these swords to inflict attrocities upon the culprits.
